As the COVID-19 pandemic hit across the world the focus was, quite rightly, on how best to maintain our physical safety. Changes were rapidly put in place – to how we work, shop, school and socialise. We were all made aware of the symptoms and what we needed to do if we presented with them. We are now starting our 7th week of these changes and talks have started about how we will start to relax our new version of normal. With these talks come a whole raft of other feelings – relief and anticipation but also fear and vulnerability. How do we continue to keep ourselves and others safe when easements start? How do we cope with another set of changes to adhere to? The pandemic has affected all of us in a variety of different ways – loss, increased pressure and a different way of life (just to name a few). Now that some time has passed since the immediacy of it all, it is time to check in with your mental wellbeing, and sometimes we all need a biiiiiiiig reminder to do that before it comes back to bite us in other ways.
OutdoorCureOnline has developed an online course to help guide you through a journey in listening to yourself. You can check out our course HERE. Its focus is on self-care and being compassionate to yourself even on those rough days. The course uses a blend of learning methods – videos, worksheets and presentations. You can work through it in your own time, at your own pace online. We have had some really positive feedback about the support offered in this course. Read our feedback HERE. It guides you through steps to develop your own self care plan that works for you and helps maintain wellbeing. If you have any questions about our course, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
We also write regular blog posts giving hints and tips to support wellbeing so why not give us a follow!
